Room description

Hello! I’m looking for another female to replace my flatmate in a lovely two-bedroom flat in Surrey Quays/Canada Water. The room is available from 1st March.

The rent is £1065.75 before bills. The bills tend to be about £150 per month. The tenancy runs until 1 September 2026 with the possibility of being renewed for another 12 months. The deposit is £1,171.15.

The 2nd floor flat itself is in the heart of a gated, modern development. The bedroom is part-furnished as shown in the pictures with a double bed and wardrobe. The room is incredibly spacious. The shared spaces (kitchen, bathroom and living room) are modern with plenty of storage space. There is also a balcony connected to the living area. The flat also comes with a brilliant and lovely concierge service (all included in the rent). The flat has a washer/dryer and also a dishwasher.

The location is quiet, relaxing and safe and the flat is perfect for commuting into the city. Canada Water station is only a 7 minute bus ride away. Both Surrey Quays Station (Windrush Line) and Canada Water Station (Jubilee & Windrush Line) are just a 15 minute walk away. There are also plenty of bus routes with both the C10 and 381 being a short walk away. The flat is also a 2 minute walk from the river which has lovely views of Canary Wharf. The flat is only a 15 min walk from a Tesco Extra and the Surrey Quays shopping centre.

I’m 29 and work as a solicitor. I work from home 2 days a week and would love to find someone of a similar age who also does hybrid working or who works full time from the office. In my spare time I enjoy going to the theatre, music concerts, the gym and reading. I’m also tidy, respectful and friendly. It’s a chilled, homely flat and so I’d love to find someone to continue that vibe and who will treat the flat like a home. I enjoy a chat in the kitchen but also have quite a busy life outside the flat as well.

The tenancy is through a letting agent and so you will need to pass their referencing checks (employment and previous landlord).
