Hi, I’m Douglas, a senior engineer based in Bow, East London, and I have a stunning double room available in my flat. The room is big, bright, and airy, with a brand new bed, mattress, and furnishings—all to a high standard. The apartment has just been redecorated and is in fantastic condition, set on a peaceful, quiet street with great neighbors and a fantastic community.
I’m looking for a responsible, professional tenant, as I plan to take short trips to Europe—Spain, Italy, France—over the coming months. I need someone who can oversee and care for the property while I’m away. I’m also looking for someone who’s down-to-earth, friendly, and happy to join me for a walk in the park, a coffee out, or who might enjoy the local library—just 5 minutes away, perfect for peaceful study.
A little bit about myself—I really enjoy staying active, so I spend a lot of my time swimming, cycling, playing snooker, golf, and going on long walks along the canals. I also love cooking, listening to music, and sometimes playing computer games. I have a daughter who lives with her mum, so occasionally, I have days out with her, or she'll come over and we’ll spend time together. The home is always peaceful, and I really love living here. I’m hoping to find someone who also enjoys getting out and about but appreciates a calm, restful home environment—that’s really what I value most.
