Room description

Hello!

We (Rob and Diana) are looking for a new flatmate to take over the ensuite room in our 3 bedroom house. We have been living in this house for 1 year (Rob has been here for 5), and would like to continue extending our contract for another year. Unfortunately, our current flatmate has decided to leave, so we are currently looking for a new flatmate to replace her. The house is in a quiet residential area in Shepherds Bush (in Hammersmith and Fulham borough) with excellent transportation links.

The new contract will start on 18th November 2025. We are looking for a new flatmate by no later than 31st September.

A little about us,

We are both friends who are easygoing and friendly people. We have our own lives, but do have chats and occasional meals together when we are free. We sometimes host board game meetups in our flat. We would ideally want to live with someone we can potentially be friends with rather than a stranger. We pay for council tax, electricity, gas, water and internet (Community Fibre) bills on our own - for each person, this is approximately £110-120 per month depending on the season).

Robert (33): I'm an aspiring web developer. I'm a British born Chinese. My parents are originally from Hong Kong. I enjoy attending meetups to meet new people and have a good time. Normally, I go for board game meetups. I love board games (mostly casual games that don't take long to teach/explain). I'm into East Asian culture. I like learning about culture through Youtube. I'm currently (slowly) learning Japanese. I also enjoy watching Korean TV shows usually on Netflix. I play on my digital piano frequently (usually with headphones if I'm not alone in the flat). I listen to music, mostly Japanese (髭男!). I regularly play games and chat with my friends online (normally in voice calls). I solve twisty puzzles e. g. Rubik's Cubes. I'm more than happy to teach you and loan some of my puzzles to you!

Diana (34): I work in fashion retail. In my free time I love meeting friends, binge-watching Netflix, or catching up on some reading. I try to stay active with volleyball, yoga, and tennis, and I also have a soft spot for vintage shopping. Home is my safe space, so I like to keep it tidy, respectful, and comfortable — a real home where everyone feels at ease. I’m friendly and easygoing, and I’m looking for a flatmate who shares the same values of being considerate, clean, and respectful of each other’s space.
