Room description
After 4 and 12 (!!) years, 2 rooms are becoming available in our lovely, homey 4 bed flat in West Hampstead. We’re a sociable bunch and are looking for like-minded people to join us.
We’re Eilidh and Kate – two gals in our early 30s from Scotland and London, respectively.
Eilidh’s a self-proclaimed neat freak and plant enthusiast… who sadly can’t keep a plant alive. You’ll often find her in the kitchen whipping up the strangest food combos imaginable- there’s always something pickled included. A pop culture fiend who can blether for hours about the latest celeb drama, nothing excites her more than a celeb spotting on Hampstead Heath.
Kate is a child & adolescent psychotherapist in training and likes to spend her free time with friends and family. She enjoys London life with trying new restaurants & cafes, cinema, exhibitions and exploring different neighbourhoods. Ally & friend 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🇵🇸
The Flat
-A bright, south-facing living room where we often hang out together in the evenings watching TV
-A compact but well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials- including 2 coffee machines
-Separate bathroom and toilet
-Storage space in the hallway, plus a garage for extra bits

If either room needs a little refresh, our landlord is happy to carry out any reasonable work- they're very responsive, and a big reason people tend to stay here longer than average. Any issues get sorted quickly, and we’re always included in decisions about the flat.
We have a monthly cleaning rota where each flatmate does one week. If you'd rather not, you're welcome to pay our cleaner to cover your turn. We’re friendly and respectful, and are looking for someone similar. That said, we’re not accepting students or anyone working regular night shifts.
Admin
-Bills are around £120 a month each. We each manage one bill and use Splitwise to stay on top of who owes what. Council tax is band E.
-Rent will increase in September (details sent in July with contract renewal)
-There's a £50 admin fee for changing the tenancy, and the deposit is one month's rent (per new tenant)
The Area
We’re just 5mins from the Jubilee Line, and under 10mins to the Overground and Thameslink. Several bus routes (139, 328, C11) are a couple of minutes away. West End Lane has a village feel with lots of independent shops, cocktail bars, and great restaurants. We’ve got all the main supermarkets close by. We’re also within walking distance of Primrose Hill, Hampstead Heath, and Regent’s Park.
