Room description
Hello!
My name is Dan.
I’m an artist who just moved back to Bristol after spending the last 8 years living in Mexico. I’m looking for someone to fill my spare room and make this house their home.
I’ve just bought the flat and have been turning it into a cosy home this summer. It’s in a great location, on a lovely, quiet street, moments away from local shops, green spaces and direct buses to the city centre.
It’s a ground-floor garden flat on a quiet Victorian street in Kingswood, which has beautiful tall ceilings, original features, stained glass windows and plenty of light. The open plan living room/kitchen is a relaxed, art-filled space and a really nice place to start the day with a coffee.
The room available is a bright, good-sized, tall-ceiling double overlooking the garden. It's really peaceful and with plenty of space for a desk for occasions of working from home. It’s currently unfurnished, but can be kitted out to a good standard if required!
About myself, I’m a friendly, curious person who values a home that feels peaceful, well looked after and creatively inspiring. I tend to start my day early with some exercise before starting my work from home or at the studio. In the evenings, I like to relax with cooking and 6 music, reading or a Mubi. So I’m looking for someone who is into calm home spaces, welcoming local cats in and weekend pub hangouts.
Rent includes council tax and wifi as a predictable cost. Energy utilities are to be shared but the household runs rather efficiently and the room keeps warm.
This come is available from 1st December as furnished or unfurnished.
