Room description
We are a creative couple looking to share our lovingly maintained home, a three-storey Victorian townhouse in Tottenham, North London.
We have an entire top floor that you will have to yourself – a private, self-contained retreat consisting of the following:
-One bright double bedroom with two skylights that flood the space with natural light.
-One additional single room perfect as a home office, private living room, or lounge room. Also with natural light.
-A private ensuite bathroom with a twin head shower, large window and natural light.
-Ample built-in storage and cupboard space.
The space will be freshly painted and tastefully decorated before you move in.
The top floor feels very peaceful and bright, ideal for someone who appreciates quiet, clean, and thoughtfully considered spaces.
You’ll be sharing the open-plan kitchen with us, fully equipped with a range-style stovetop, large fridge, washing machine, and dryer, as well as the main living area. This opens out onto a paved garden featuring white jasmine and a pear tree.
We're a sociable but respectful couple who enjoy hosting a good dinner party just as much as we love quiet evenings at home. We are looking for someone who will treat our home with the care and respect we give it, with an emphasis on high standards of hygiene, cleanness and tidiness. We appreciate a mature, communicative person who is independent and comfortable in living in a family home. Is proactive with communicating well in person or through whatsapp, phone and email.

A Bit About Us
We’re a cis-het man and woman in our 30s and 40s, both artists working across the creative industries. One of us is a designer, oral historian, and part-time nanny; the other is a decorator, art restorer, and conservator. Our home is a peaceful, well-loved space that reflects our creative lives and our appreciation for comfort, beauty, and wellness. We value and enjoy a healthy lifestyle in cooking, fitness, the occasional dinner with friends, and quiet evenings spent working on projects, reading, or watching films. We’re warm, open people who enjoy a chat or shared meal now and then, but we also value personal space, and we respect each other's routines.
We are a zero-tolerance household for discrimination of any kind, including racism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism.
We’d love to live with someone independent, kind, tidy, and respectful, someone who can enjoy the space as a peaceful home who shares similar values and is happy to live with a couple.
How to Apply:
Please send us a bit about yourself – your work or studies, your usual weekly routine, what kind of living environment you’re looking for and why this arrangement appeals to you. We’ll arrange viewings followed by an informal interview for those we think could be well suited to live in our home. For the interview we ask that you bring references, proof of identity, and some form of employment or student verification as part of the process.
