What I Love About the Property
One of the best things about this home is the incredible riverside setting. The room has its own south-facing balcony overlooking the Thames, which makes it a really peaceful spot to start the day with a coffee or unwind in the evening while watching the river. Because it’s south facing, the room gets loads of natural light throughout the day, making it feel bright, warm and spacious.
The house itself has just been newly renovated, so everything feels fresh, modern and well maintained. The room is generously sized, fully furnished and set up well for both relaxing and working from home with a dedicated desk space and plenty of storage.
The location is also fantastic. It’s quiet and scenic along the river, but still incredibly well connected. Canada Water and Surrey Quays stations are only a short walk away, giving quick access to the Jubilee Line and Overground, and the Thames Clipper pier is right outside which makes commuting to Canary Wharf or central London really easy. You’re also just minutes from both Tesco Express and Tesco Extra for everyday shopping.
The household is friendly, tidy and professional. I’m the landlord and work in the City, and the other flatmate is a 23-year-old professional male also working in the City. It’s a relaxed, respectful home where everyone has their own space but enjoys a comfortable and easy living environment.
