I am a professional single male looking for a room for a short-term let from the end of August/beginning of September until November/December 2025. I mostly work from home and currently go into the office two or three days a month. I have spent most of my life working in local government committee administration and I have been doing agency work for the last 10 years. I require a furnished single/double room (including a desk and chair for working from home) which is available 7-days a week. As a "semi-retired" person, I do not spend a great deal of time socialising, and I am quite happy to go to the local pub for a few beers and to spend my spare time reading and watching television. If there is a local gym that I can join, I will probably spend time there as I like to exercise 2 or 3 times a week. I am not a smoker. Consequently, I would not want share accommodation with people who do smoke. Other than that, I do not have many/specific requirements.
