Room description
Modern Double Room with Private Bathroom – New Islington
Professional flatshare – live-out landlord
Hello, and thanks for taking a look at my advert.
I own a bright, modern two-bedroom flat in New Islington and I’m looking for a friendly, considerate professional to take the second room and share with one other lodger. I don’t live in the flat myself, but I’m very hands-on as a landlord and I want whoever moves in to feel at home, not like they’re just renting a room.
📍 Location
A couple of minutes’ walk from New Islington tram stop
Around 10 minutes’ walk to Manchester Piccadilly
About 15 minutes’ walk to the Arndale / city centre
There’s no dedicated parking with the flat, but local permit/nearby parking may be available through the council.
🛏 The Room & The Flat
Comfortable, fully furnished double bedroom
Your own private bathroom (not shared)
Contemporary, well-kept apartment in a secure development
Shared use of a modern kitchen and a relaxed living area with the other lodger
It’s a calm, tidy space that suits someone who wants a proper home to come back to at the end of the day.
👤 Who I’m Looking For
Single occupancy only
A working professional who is naturally tidy, respectful and easy-going
Someone who’s happy to do their bit to keep the place feeling clean and comfortable
If you like your own space, are past the party-house stage, and appreciate a peaceful flat, you’ll probably fit in well here.
🧽 Cleanliness & House Style
The flat is kept to a high standard, and I’d like to keep it that way. The ideal person is someone who:
Clears up after themselves in the kitchen and bathroom
Keeps their room, living and kitchen and bathroom reasonably tidy
Leaves shared spaces as they found them
Nothing extreme – just basic respect for the home and the other person living there. If you’re naturally tidy, this will all feel very normal.
💷 Rent & Practical Bits
Rent: £950 per month
Deposit: £1,075 (fully refundable at the end of the tenancy, subject to the usual checks and no damage)
Ideally I’m looking for someone who wants to stay a bit longer term. That said, I understand life can change – if either of us needs to end the arrangement, I ask for one month’s notice, and I’ll give the same in return.
If this sounds like the kind of place you’d be happy to call home, just drop me a message with a short introduction (what you do for work, your usual routine, and when you’re hoping to move in), and we can arrange a viewing.
Best,
Avi
