The rent is £700 per month and it includes council tax, water and internet. Additionally, there is electricity, which is a top up of £50 roughly every two months — depending on the season and usage.

The room is roomy and bright. It has a double bed and a wardrobe fit for a few items — so, ideal for someone who wants to furnish it themselves.

The property has a kitchen equipped with an oven, a shared fridge/freezer, and cupboards; a bathroom with a bath/shower; a back garden; a parking space; and a well-lit living room with a sofa, a TV, and a great view of the city.

The place is well-connected and convenient for commuters. It’s near to two overgrounds (New Cross Gate and Brockley), one train station (Nunhead), and many bus stops.

There’s a big Sainsbury’s, two Sainsbury’s Local, a Lidl, and plenty of pubs, cafes, and takeaways within 10 to a 30-minute walking distance.

The property is also located between two big parks, thus good for joggers and nature lovers.

You will share the house with Marco, James, and the cat that lives with the couple downstairs, which occasionally comes to play.

Marco likes music, writing, reading, exercising, and art in general; while James loves nature, gardening, Tottenham, cooking, yoga, and also music — we both used to play instruments.

We often chat and catch up in the evening, when we are both off, or when good matches are on.

We are a queer friendly household, and we are looking for a housemate who is ideally a professional in their 30s or 40s, who likes socialising, but they also respect other people’s spaces; who cares about keeping the flat clean and tidy, and cares to live in a relaxing and restful place.
