Room description
Hi! My name is Lilli and I am a uni student looking to save my money by renting out my room over the summer, which I stay at home with my family. I am able to move out of my room from Friday 13th of June. My landlord will arrange an official mini contract with you, so this is completely official and you can be reassured that this is not a scam ad. It is through a process called transferring the deed of assignment, so you will pay rent directly to the company (WeAreKin), not me, and will have an official contract, with your own house key etc. The rent is £140/week with all bills included.
The room is super super nice! South-facing with a queen-sized bed, desk and wardrobe with hanging space. It is 10 minute walk from a Lidl, same distance to Whitworth Park which is so pretty, 10 min walk and 15 minute bus to city centre, 15 minute walk to Manchester Uni.
The final move out date for the property is the 29th of August. I will make sure that the room is completely clean before I leave, and I ask that you do the same when you leave. As long as you make reasonable efforts to keep our communal areas clean, we will not require you to help us clean these up at the end of the tenancy, we will do it all ourselves.
On that note, the house has a communal living room/dining room/kitchen. You will share the fridge/freezer with my other flatmates. I have a cupboard which I will clean out that you can put your kitchen stuff in. There are 2 shower/toilet rooms, either of which you can use.
We are a super friendly group of people, so would be so happy to chat but also if you just want to do your own thing and be given space that is so fine too. Almost all of us are LGBTQ+, and are not too crazy in terms of big house parties or drinking + drugs. If possible we would really like to be able to at least have a call with whoever might want to move in to make sure that everyone is comfortable.
As we are all students, there is no council tax. You will need to be a student too though for this to still be valid - doesn't matter if you are about to join uni or are in a placement or in-between years!
That is everything I can think of right now but feel free to message with questions!
