Room description

Sadly I am moving out of my current flat so am looking for someone to take over the room from 14thJuly and join my friend Mark who lives here.

 

BEDROOM/ FLAT

The bedroom comes with an ensuite and a massive built-in floor to ceiling wardrobe for storage. The mattress is very new, just recently replaced, and a lot of light comes in from the two big windows with black-out curtains. The bed can be moved so you can have a working desk by the window. I have a projector set-up in the bedroom and Mark has a smart TV/ TV box in the living room for streaming. The flat itself has a balcony, an adjustable work desk, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and a modern kitchen etc.. We are by Haggerston Park and the canal, within walking distance to Columbia Flower Market, Shoreditch, Dalston, Broadway Market and London Fields and have great transport links to central and other parts of London - 5 min from Hoxton overground/ 10 min from Haggerston overground and 2 min from buses 149 (London Bridge), 242 (Aldgate), 243 (Holborn/ Waterloo) and 394 (Islington/ Homerton).

 

FLATMATE

You will be living with Mark, who is from Scotland, super friendly, easygoing, and likes running, cooking, beers and occasional gigs. He is sometimes away for work and travels so you can have the flat to yourself from time to time. He is in his late 30s, runs his own businesses and works from home few days a week. We are both relaxed, tidy, respectful and are looking for someone who is after the same :)

 

AGENCY REQUIREMENTS

We are open to anyone late 20s to late 40s (LGBTQIA2S+ friendly). Your passport copy, right to rent share code (if required), work contract/ reference and previous landlord details will be needed to pass agency background check. Landlord has a hard requirement for no students, couples and pets but we can ask for anything else. You will take over my lease until 13th September 2026 – our agency is quite flexible so you will have the option to leave anytime before that by replacement and the option to extend for renewal. Deposit is 1 month's rent, bills around 150pcm+.
