Room description

I'm renting out the largest room in my house (it used to be the living room) but now is a combined double bedroom with self-contained living and dining room space. It is fully furnished, including a dining table for two and brand new smart tv. I've ordered a small, two person sofa to replace the one person armchair in the photos.

The kitchen and bathroom are both shared. The flat itself is a 7 minute walk to Finchley Central tube, from where you can get into central London very quickly (10mins to Camden, 15mins to Euston, 20mins to Tottenham Court Rd)

Finchley Central itself is a leafy suburb with a large Tesco 5mins walk from the flat, a Waitrose 15mins (or 5 by bus) plus a park, huge nature reserve and many shops and restaurants.

So a bit about me; I've lived in London for most of my adult life, having grown up just outside in Hertfordshire. I have two parallel careers as an advertising copywriter, which I've been doing for over 20 years, and more recently (12 years) as a professional actor.

I don't drink anymore so probably wouldn't be compatible with someone who was partying a lot. If I'm honest, I wouldn't want drugs in the house. But I'm still very sociable and very involved in the ecstatic dance/sober clubbing scene which seems to be growing all the time in London. I'm very into fitness and well being and tend to gel more nowadays with people who share that kind of lifestyle.

A couple more things to mention; The £1500 on the ad (which includes bills and council tax) is the amount for a solo person moving into the room. I am open to a couple moving in but this would obviously affect the rent. I'd probably be expecting about £2000 pcm for a couple but happy to discuss this.

What used to be the second bedroom is now a teeny tiny lounge/tv room for myself - but this is not a shared space. But hopefully when you see the room for rent you'll understand. My intention was to include a living/dining area within the room I'm renting so both my flatmate and me would have more of our own private living space.
