Room description

Double room, furnished with bedside cabinet, recently new small double bed and two fitted wardrobes. Large computer desk and chair. Some shelving also. Modern kitchen and large bathroom with shower and bath. Street parking available, 10 minute walk to town center and train station.

I have a very friendly 17 year old cat (who is used to having the run of the house so will come in if your door is open) so animal lovers preferred.

My house is really close to the train station (2 min drive/10 min walk) and there is always somewhere available to park outside/close by the house. Mini supermarket across the road very handy , Tesco Express/Co-op 5 minutes walk.

There is the option to have a Virgin cable box in the room (so you can watch what you like even if i'm watching something else downstairs but this would payable monthly as an extra by you i.e. I have bought the box but there's a monthly charge) and fast speed wireless broadband available throughout house.

I work from home (so need relative quiet during the day) and am looking for a professional person with at least 1 reference. Must be a complete non smoker and clean and tidy as I am very houseproud and keep a nice home.

I've been told I'm a good landlady and am still in touch with many former tenants :)

Rent is payable weekly (£125 per wk) with 4 weeks rent in advance and 4 weeks deposit required. Tenancy agreement provided.

Update August 2022: I've had to increase the rent from £100 to £150 due to utility cost increases.

Note: due to recent let downs (i.e. people have said they want the room but can't move in for 1 month then don't show up), one weeks non-returnable deposit will be required at time of tenancy agreement signature if moving in date is more than two weeks in the future. Thanks.

Please note: No pets I'm afraid (my cat does not like other cats in the house and is afraid of dogs) and no couples. Also no children staying over, thank you.
