Room description
I'm looking for a lodger to take a room in my converted oast house situated in a secluded hamlet just outside the village of Hastingleigh. It's beautiful countryside up here so if you are looking for somewhere to chill but still be within striking distance of Canterbury for shopping and Wye for fast links to London then this is the place for you. Having a car is essential and you will have your own off-road parking spot. The village has a great pub, a garage and church.
The room is furnished with a chest-of-drawers, wardrobe and double bed. You will have the majority use of the family bathroom (I have my own en-suite WC) which I use for showers but otherwise is yours. You will have the use of my country kitchen with ample cupboard space and a shared fridge. We have a patio and small garden which you have the use of. We have excellent wifi (Starlink) which is included.
I am a 67yr old man. I still work as a painter/decorator and am into sport, pub, current affairs, gigs, music and much else. I also share my house with a delightful young Labrador called Hammie who would love it if you were interested in taking him for a walk.
