Room description

The room is a double room, furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed stand. The room is quiet, and is next to the garden, so there is no traffic noise. The flat is cosy and homely with a spacious open plan kitchen and living room. As a ground floor flat our back kitchen door opens up onto a shared communal garden, with table and chairs for enjoying the sun in summer. There is also a communal bike shed available for cyclists.

The area

The flat is on a quiet street, which is just off a main road. Within a 5 minute walk is the Southside shopping centre (restaurants, clothes shops and cinema) and just opposite is large Sainsbury's. In the area we are local to two parks, Wandsworth Park (on the river), and King Georges park. 5 minutes on a bus, or a 15minute walk is Putney High Street, which has a great selection or pubs, restaurants and cocktail bars.

The transport

A 2 minute walk to the bus stop for 37, 170, 337,

A 5 minute walk to the bus for for 220, 270, 44, 39, 156.

A 5-10 minute walk to East Putney Tube Station (District Line)

A 10 minute walk to Wandsworth Town Station.

The current flatmates

Currently living in the flat are two professionals. Nuala, 27, who is currently training for the London Ambulance Service. Clare, 33, who works for Imperial College. Both flatmates are Irish, friendly, and clean.

Please note, that from August, Nuala's boyfriend would be moving into the flat also, he is Danish, 27, a carpenter and very easy going.

The amenities

The rent per month is £620 and includes council tax, Wifi and TV License. The only additional payments for the house would be the deposit £789.00, the energy bill (which is paid quarterly), and the water which is paid annually.

The apartment is landlord let, so there are no fees and no hassle from estate agents. There is also flexibility around the move in date.
