Room description

Hi, I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in my lovely rented period house as my current flatmate of 5 years is moving out in mid-May. I’m a professional creative guy who works from home during the week and my interests (and past jobs) include photographer, chef and music promoter; I dig street art , tacos, Thai food, bbqs and rock’n’roll, I love to travel and I am a friendly, easy going, tolerant and sociable person.

The house is clean and as an ex chef the kitchen is always tidy and everything is always washed up after cooking. I’m tidy and quiet and would appreciate and expect that in a new housemate too. I’m looking for someone friendly and sociable, who may be happy to hang out but equally ok doing their own thing. Not a party house, but occasionally I have friends round for dinner or a summer bbq.

About the room:

Partially furnished double bedroom in Harringay Green Lanes is now available in a 2 bedroom flat with garden. Great opportunity for £700 per month plus bills

Bills are around £120 a month, and that includes broadband, gas, council tax, electricity and a cleaner coming in 4 hours a month.

Employed only, no pets and no couples please. No fees unless you prefer to get added to the contract. One month’s rent in advance and one month’s deposit (to cover any damages) before moving in (the deposit is refundable when you move out with two month’s notice that you’re leaving by the 12th of the month). Please note the deposit is not your last month’s rent.

The area:

The Harringay/Green Lanes area is incredibly vibrant with plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and loads of great Turkish restaurants all just round the corner. There is also a good coffee shop and a 24 hour off license 2 minutes away. We are a 10 minute walk from Manor house station and a 3 minute walk to Harringay Green Lanes Overground with easy access to all over the city via the Piccadilly line, London Overground, British Rail and buses 29, 141, 341 and 67. The house is located in zone 3 but Manor House tube is in zone 2.

Room is for single use only please and is available on the 12th of May.
